The JEE Main is the only way for engineering aspirants to land a seat in IITs and some of the top engineering institutions in India. Since these institutions offer the best resources including teachers, facilities and other amenities, the number of students appearing for this exam is very high. So it is considered as one of the toughest exams. This is an online test conducted by the National Testing Agency. Since 2019, the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development and Government of India have handed over the responsibility of conducting the JEE Main to this agency.

In 2022, the JEE Main will be conducted in four sessions. The exam conducting authority has not yet announced the dates of the JEE 2022. The exam dates are expected to be published soon by the NTA.
